This company has the tendency to use the same ruler to measure everything and the same yardstick to judge all alike. Interviewers who seem to be nothing more than your average SDE (who seems to think very highly of themselves) is out there judging SREs. They lack the technical acumen to be asking domain specific questions and clearly have a narrow idea of what's right and what's not. Stick to asking DSA and System design fellas and thats fine too but thats not the end all be all in SRE. Let the real SREs do the SRE interview.
