Pros: The recruiter was nice, and I now have a comprehensive, first hand understanding of their entire organizational chart.
Cons: The interview process is an endurance sport. I applied for a Customer Success Manager role and went through seven separate rounds. I interviewed with a recruiter, the Director of CSM, a Sales Engineer, the Sales team, a full panel (complete with a presentation I spent hours on), and the hiring manager.
It is clearly a culture of extreme "decision by committee." If a company requires total consensus from seven different layers of the organization just to hire one CSM, I think it’s safe to say that the concept of Agile has officially left the building. I didn't reach a potential round eight or nine but in my mind I was foreseeing a couple of rounds with the janitorial staff and/or the CEO, just to ensure true corporate alignment. Communication after the final marathon was incredibly sluggish. If you have a few months of your life to trade for a "thanks but no thanks" email from a committee, this is the place for you.
