I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cobb County School District (Marietta, GA) in Apr 2019
Interview
First, you must complete an online profile. Jobs are listed on the CCSD website and can be applied for directly. Once the application is submitted you may or may not be called up for an interview. While interviewing, I met with administrative team (sometimes just the principal and in some cases the principal and assistant principal). There were no follow-up interviews just the one. However, references seemed to play a significant role.

The interview process is great at the career fair. It also went well at the particular school you have to interview afterward. The Career fair can be overwhelming with the hundreds of educators also looking for work.

Interview
I am a new teacher and this interview with two administrators was very thorough. There were many questions about classroom management, teaching philosophy and discipline techniques. They asked about my background and why I wanted to be a teacher. They asked about innovative and creative teaching methods I use in the classroom. They spoke about the importance of parental contact and conferencing with colleagues.
