I applied in-person. I interviewed at Coach (Sydney)
Interview
Coach was hiring Sales Assistants in DFO, Homebush. I went ahead and asked for the Manager, and the employee told me that she wasn't in that specific day. Just then the manager entered the store after her break, and I happened to see her. She told me I could come interview at 11 am Friday. On the day of the interview, 3 hours before she texted me saying she was working in another store (HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL). So I followed up the next week, and there was no reply from her.
It's amazing as to how I was lied to and not gotten back to. It was extremely unprofessional. Managers are supposed to have basic ettiquettes of at least saying that they decided to not go ahead with a specific candidate's application. Extremely disappointed. The least I expected was for them to reject me rather than ignore. It's honestly a shame considering it's such a reputed brand.
Had two calls- one with hiring manager and afterwards (week later) met with person I would directly report to. They were not good about following up and I had to email twice to get a response that they had moved forward with other candidates
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Coach (Milan) in Sept 2019
Interview
Interview with store manager, floor manager and language assessment, nice talk in order to understand the candidate. Overall effective way of understanding whether the person first or not the position, considering personality, experiences and attitude.
