GHOSTED - end result. Unprofessional, especially for an executive position and candidate.
Recruiter reached out to me to schedule an interview. It took her two days and two replies back to her to finally get a response to set up an interview the following day. She then was 15 minutes late to our interview time and only after I emailed asking if there was a delay needed? Naturally, it became difficult to connect with her as she jumped right into the interview since she was late. Interview was typical questioning on background, which is a direct match in leadership skill set needed and product set background that mirrors their product as well as very relevant multifamily background too. She gave me an opportunity to ask one question before the call ended and only said that they were in the middle of the process but looking at internal candidate as well. Her tone led me to believe that internal would get it.
That is all fine and dandy but after three emails asking for feedback/status update over the next three weeks on the position she completely ghosted me and has never responded back. Very unprofessional to say the least when you are interviewing for an executive position. Disappointing.
