Had a 30 minute call with a recruiter in Hong Kong for a US-based position. Needed to have it late at night to overlap with business hours in HK. A week later, I had the first round system design interview again late at night with two engineers in HK. Seemed like it went okay, but I have not heard back for ten days, so I assume I am no longer being considered for the role.

Data architecture and API design for some theoretical feature
Initial recruiter call and then a system design interview. Recruiter was very pleasant but the system design interviewers were not. They kept interrupting my answers and what I was doing.

Multiple interview stages and recruiter was super helpful and friendly. I didn’t progress after third round and they were happy to provide me interview feedbacks when requested. I enjoyed the overall process and their transparency in communication
