I applied online. I interviewed at Cloudera in May 2017
Interview
I had 7 rounds of interviews with various people from the organisation. The interviews were mostly unstructured and the interviewers were mainly interested in my personality and wether I would fit the culture of the company or not. Obviously we have gone through my CV and they asked me a few questions regarding my past experiences. No specific test or such was part of the process.

Question 1
How would you handle a client that calls you furiously because his/her request has been pending for weeks without an answer?

Interview
I have just got one interview, the first screening with Talent Acquisition. It was a pleasent experience. Even though I think I have performed well, they did not want to continue the process with me. That was a bit disapointing but I understand they set the bar very high.

Interview
4 rounds of interviews, not including the screening, that were pretty basic in nature. There would have been more, but the VP had the wisdom to put a stop to the foolery.

The interview process was unnecessarily long, 4 in total, but there would have been more until the VP said enough is enough. I met with three directors and the VP. I would have met with the PM director and someone from HR, but they were on vacation.
