This actually was the application process online:
1st) In the questions you can answer or decline to answer about race, authorized to work in the US, etc., they ask your birth date which I think is an EEOC violation in regards to asking your age in the hiring process.
2) I'm not sure who in the company decided on the questions to ask in the "questionnaire" part of the process but I'm going to assume they bought into a psychologist approach to over-thinking the hiring process. The vast majority of questions have nothing to do with actually determining whether you can lead a sales team or be an excellent individual contributor and ultimately deliver on the financial goals of the company. Especially when you have been a rock star sales manager for over 10 years.
3) They advertise the same position in many cities and several states which is going to waste many peoples time.
Overall a poor approach to hiring a rock solid professional to deliver on the job responsibilities.
