      IT Operations Engineer Interview

      17 Jun 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Clipboard in Jun 2024

      Interview

I received the automated intro case study and was later invited for an interview. The first interview was pretty standard and afterwards I was asked to complete a second case study. I was invited for a second interview which went well but a few days later I received the "After careful consideration ..." email. Seems like an interesting company to work for and the entire process took nearly 4 weeks (a leadership offsite coincided with week 2/3). I would like to add that while some of the case studies seem like they're asking for an answer, tailor your responses to demonstrate how you search for and reach conclusions. Hopefully that tid-bit will helps others feel more comfortable applying to their open positions. I would apply to open positions in the future.

      IT Operations Engineer Interview

      16 Oct 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Clipboard (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2024

      Interview

I applied on LinkedIn and then received a series of questions from Komal, their HR specialist, who sent over a case study of all things. Upon further review, I found the interviews are often conducted in three phases, and each has another case study. This may be Clipboard's interview method, but it's irrefutably stupid. Perhaps spend more time interviewing applicants with human participants instead of this sorry method in the future. You sacrificed a lot of highly skilled potential candidates like this. :)

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

It's a multiple-question case study that will take you a few hours.

      IT Operations Engineer Interview

      14 Jun 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Clipboard (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2024

      Interview

The interview process went no where as they would not have me interview without doing work for them for free. I do not recommend anyone waste their time interviewing with this company until they have a complete rework to their interview process.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How you would go about integrating two applications together in excruciating detail. "Basically do the work that would take deep knowledge of their systems and individuals that have worked on the process before for free".
