The interview process was of 5 steps in the period of 3 months:
1. Video. 2. Call interview with MD.3. Face to face interview with MD, PA & QA Manager with study case and “stress” questions. 4. Interview with CEO. 5. A 5000 word dissertation during Christmas time.
Although I like the products and philosophy of Clinuvel, interviewing for this company was a bit like going back to the 50ies.
During the f2f interview they couldn’t open my PPT and it took 15 minutes for IT to resolve it as apparently they were just upgrading their systems. They even blamed it on me as I didn’t bring an USB key which is a massive breach of security.
The MD made some rude comments about the big pharma company I used to work for saying they keep the seat warm.
In my interview with the CEO I was patronised by being told that this role needs full commitment and if it wasn’t going to be too difficult for me and my “family” life. I was asked if I had some support from a family perspective...
They later asked me to write a report on few questions they had which was right during christmas, after I spent a good 12 hours on this they came back saying “She’s simply showed she cannot do the job”. Without any experience or competency facts to quote.
In May 2020 I received an email from the PA with an attachment saying please find the offer in attachment. It was actually a scam email as they email got hacked.
No email or apologies when I queried it, they just said delete the email. I later reported this incident to the Information Commissioner’s Office for the mise use of my personal data.
