The first interview was through video chat which is typical with any company. It lasted about 30 minutes. It was to see how well I speak and communicate. I thought it went really well. However, the second interview was somewhat odd and lasted about one hour. Although I applied to be a WordPress web developer, I thought the second interview was going to be technical about web development and stuff but it was not. In fact, the second interview was more like a Figma design and project management interview. That’s why I thought it was odd. I felt that the interview did not align with the job title and job description. Despite my efforts, I received a rejection email the following week without any explanation as to why I was rejected.
