I applied online. I interviewed at Clearwater International (Leeds, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview consisted of around 16 students for about 4 roles (1 per office).
It was hosted at hotel in Birmingham and the day consisted of a group exercise, case study (prospective acquisition for a PE firm). Discus pros, cons etc - looking for how you think about this scenario. Lastly there was an interview.
Annoyingly they took 2 weeks to get back to me with a result and when they did I had to wait a week longer for feedback which was brief. They should manage graduates expectations better
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
See above for outline - in short behavioural style is the majority of question. not that much technical questions if any . Number one advice is to not show off with answers or asking “smart” questions. Also do have a very strong motivation for applying for a regional office.
was very extensive, had 3 rounds, each of which had accounting and finance questions. Then, a case with DCF, LBO building slides, and submitting Excel. Had overall a positive experience.
