I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ClearTax (New Delhi) in Feb 2021
Interview
Initially HR contacted and scheduled 2 rounds in the same day and both were mandatory.
1st round happened and they gave a go-ahead for 2nd round. 2nd round lasted for almost 1.5 hrs and after which a mail came that we won't be proceeding further.
The reason specified was that 1st and 2nd round both were average. I mean, If you don't have clarity in 1st round itself then why waste time of everyone else taking the other round which wasn't the case actually.
You typically judge in first 30 mins of interview that whether the candidate is good or not , considering here that it took them 1.5 hrs to judge in which only some theoriticsl questions were not answered.
The panel *VS* I wish all lf them success in future and suggest thrm to use more of the brain thats provided.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ClearTax (Bengaluru)
Interview
Had an hour long interview for the Frontend Engineer role. The interviewer mostly focused on React basic and advance concepts. I answered all correctly which am very sure of. There was one question where i answered correct but he didnt accept that as he felt thats a wrong answer but later I checked on the react docs to make sure and I was correct but you cant just force your interviewer to change his answer if you realy want a good review to move to the next round so I didn't press much on that. Apart from that everything that he asked was answered and he accepted all. The interviewer had joined recently as he mentioned.
After that there were no communications from the HR so i reached out to them and they had no idea so asked to wait for a callback. Later again i had to reach back where I got the feedback that i had little knowledge on the domain.
So overall it wasn't the experience that i was expecting for this interview.
