I applied online. I interviewed at Clark Condon (Houston, TX) in Jan 2018
Interview
I should've left this review as soon as it happened, as it was a pretty disheartening experience. I was flown in for an interview, and a woman from their HR department picked me up from the airport and gave me a ride to the firm. On the way to the firm, she listed off all the reasons why the other candidates were not selected for the position. One of those candidates was a friend of mine, so that was awkward enough. Then, she proceeded to tell me that they didn't hire one candidate because she is Sikh, and doesn't drink. I was so shocked and didn't know what to say. They took me out to dinner after the interview and were trying to get me drunk and kept insinuating about how that's a right of passage to getting hired there. One of the people at the dinner also talked openly about he doesn't care about the environment. It was all in all a pretty horrible and exhausting experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. After all that was said and done, I never heard from them after the interview, even though I sent them an undeserved thank you email. They just totally ghosted me. I talked to multiple other people who had interviews with this firm, and they all said the same thing happened to them - they were ghosted as well.
