It was my first ever interview of that sort, so it was a good learning experience. I was given a take home Angular+Rails project, they said the tech interview would be based on it. The project was dependent on Twilio free api key. On the day of the interview it turned out I used up all my free credits with Twilio, so I couldn't demo the project. I was so nervous I couldn't think straight and couldn't understand the error messages Twilio was throwing. They debugged with me and resorted to ask me questions about ways to optimize my Rails code.
