      29 May 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Beltsville, MD
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cision (Beltsville, MD) in Mar 2018

      Interview

Very quick and streamlined process. Basic phone interview, followed by a in-person interview with 2 lower level managers. They asked fairly tough questions regarding instances I've gone through in my past. They focused a lot on the details on my resume and questioned how I got to where I was, etc.

      Business Development Manager Interview

      6 Feb 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cision (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2018

      Interview

Applied online, heard back in about a week and set up a phone screen. Very casual feel, and lasted about 30 minutes. Really just to review my resume, not too many behavioral/situational questions. Next day I received an email letting me know they wanted to set me up with a second phone interview with the hiring manager. This was a more intense phone call with more directed questions about my sales process, cadence and strategic thinking. I felt it went fairly well, but a week later they sent me an email letting me know they wouldn't be continuing with my application. Overall, solid communication from the recruiter and everyone was extremely friendly and pleasant. Interviewing is a tough process, so it's nice when a company handles it so professionally.
