I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Cisco (College Station, TX) in Jan 2016
Interview
Talked to a recruiter at a career fair at my university. Got the interview immediately for the next day. The interviewer asked me a few questions about my resume and after a few words where I explained I wasn't a computer science major and had spent more time learning advanced hardware than software, he tuned me out. I explained to him that I had a decent software background and he asked me some questions about different software related fields and protocols for their routers. He was not very interested however and kept looking out the window and to his watch. Overall very unprofessional interviewer.
