Had a virtual interview on Zoom. Right away the interviewer felt distracted, unengaged and rushed through the questions constantly cutting me off. It was a first 15 min screening call. we finished in about 9 min. Questions were easy, nothing complex, and no different to other interviews for similar positions where I got positive feedback/job offer. Just felt the interviewer, had made his mind up about me perhaps due to some sort of prejudice or discrimination instantly from the start. Surprising as he's meant to be senior championing DEI. Got a rejection email 1 working day later, no feedback just automated.
