I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CiraConnect (Carrollton, TX) in Sept 2017
Interview
Friendly people asking irrelevant nit-pick questions that were obviously taken from "interview question" lists. They weren't interested in the value of experience. They seemed to want a developer who could answer certification exam type questions. I am certified in my languages...but I also have decades of actual experience. The questions asked were related to details that have little to do with building solutions with code, and more to do with whether you know the correct syntax for feature "X" that was only added to C# within the last few versions. They advertise for "Senior" but seem to only know how to recognize "junior".
Never got a callback, even though they were extremely positive all the way out the door....like I said, nice people.

Question 1
Can you optimize the performance of our SQL queries, because we can't seem to do it.
