I applied online through the Cintas Website. Two days later I got a call to schedule a phone interview for a position that I never applied to. But I accepted the opportunity to interview anyways. She told me to call her at the number provided at 11:00am. When I called there was no answer. I left a message then sent her an email. She emailed right back saying she had a work emergency she had to handle and that we can reschedule for the next day. I called the next day and interviewed for the position I initially applied to ( I guess she typed the wrong position in the email). After the phone screening she scheduled me for an in person interview.
(Standard scenario questions)
I went in for the interview, (2 hours way) I was interviewed by two managers. Then they sent in another manager to interview me. After that they sent in another manager (the one I did the phone screen with) and then they sent in the Head manager. After the last interview they asked me to take an excel assessment, Which I was skeptical about because I was pressed for time. The interview process lasted 2 hours.
The next day I sent a thank you letter via email. She replied and told me to come back to retake the excel assessment since I didn't have time to finish it. She then called to ask when I would be able to start if offered the position. I tell her 2 weeks (2 weeks to give my current employer) and she says she will email me a time I can come back in. I did not hear from her for 4 days. I then email her to confirm a time to come in and she never responds. I called her and got no response... 2 weeks later I email again to get the status of the job and She told me that they had not made a decision yet and that regardless I will hear from HR. It's going on 7 weeks and I never heard from HR regarding the position but I did notice that they reposted the position several times since I interviewed. Clearly I did not get the job which is fine but I would have appreciated the common courtesy of receiving a rejection letter instead of having me anxiously wait for weeks for an answer. Very inconsiderate. But seeing how they operate, probably not a company I'd want to work for anyway.
