First round with HR then several rounds with various marketers and creatives; asked about skills and campaign experience across the employees. Individual zoom interviews with each person and no panels.
I applied online. I interviewed at Cineverse in Mar 2024
Interview
HR reached out requesting my availability to interview. I responded multiple times with my availability and even sent a note on LinkedIn to the person who had emailed to make sure my emails were going through, but they never responded. 5 months later I received an email saying I was rejected for the position. What a joke... I can't imagine how disorganized they must be internally where they can't even manage their candidates.
Had an initial interview with a recruiter that just asked me basic questions on my experience in relation to the role. Then she said she would send that information to the hiring manager to see if they are interested in an interview. A few days later I get an email that the hiring manager wants an interview with me so I prepare for it like crazy. I get into the interview and it’s like crickets. The hiring manager barely asked me any questions so I just had to talk away. The interview was cut extremely short and it seems clear they had no interest in getting to know anything about me once the interview commenced. At the end the hiring manager informed me that I would hear back with a decision within a couple days but it’s been multiple weeks and I was GHOSTED! This company is extremely unprofessional if this is how they conduct interviews and treat candidates. It’s for the best that I didn’t get this role after all.
