      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Choice Hotels (Rockville, MD) in Sept 2020

      Interview

Phone Screen with Hiring Manager, Technical Assessment, Hiring Manager Interview, lastly panel with four to five different people. 2.5 hours of interviews. The process took a while to get through, the technical assessment wasn't too hard but, the process didn't seem very transparent.

      Positive experience

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Choice Hotels (North Bethesda, MD) in Nov 2024

      Interview

There were about 5 rounds of interviews. There was also no technical interview (which I was surprised by), and primarily focused on assessing fit in team and role. They asked about familiarity if statistical methods and programming languages but did not ask you show any proof of knowledge.

      Senior Analyst Interview

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Rockville, MD

      Negative experience

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Choice Hotels (Rockville, MD) in Dec 2020

      Interview

I went through 5 interviews at Choice over a span of 1.5 months for a position that the team was looking to fill ASAP. The interviews ranged from speaking with analysts on the team up to executives. The interviews were very technical and straight to the point. All were positive except for the interview with an executive, who seemed as though he couldn't care less to be there. The issue, however, is not with the interview process, but with the recruiter. I was told my recruiter would follow up with me the Monday following my interview, and I have not yet heard a response after a month. I even reached out via text, call, email, and LinkedIn. Still to this day I'm unsure of whether or not I got the position, but any response/update would have been courteous and professional considering how much of my time went into the process. It's disappointing and has really changed my perceptive of a company I once thought was amazing. I now wonder how organized the company really is.
