I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Portland, OR)
Interview
I was called about two days after applying. I had to wait while other applicants were being interviewed. It was very disorganized as it was the shift change, so while the manager and two crew members interviewed the other applicants, only one crew member interviewed me. By the time the manager and other crew member showed up, I'd already answered all the questions. They showed me the back and then said they'd email me. Got an email 4 hours later with a declination.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
