The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle (Akron, OH) in Apr 2015
Interview
Walked into the establishment and asked to see the manager for an interview, and as others on here have said, it was a group interview. I personally think it's not a pleasant way to run an interview. Every single question that was asked the girl next to me got to answer first, which made coming up with new answers on the spot difficult. The girl spent the entire time claiming she was incredibly socially oriented, yet glared every single time I opened my mouth. In the end she was hired because she knew people who worked there.

Question 1
Why would you like to work here?
Why would you make a good chipotle employee?
What do you like to do in your free time?
What do you know about chipotle?
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
