I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Chipotle (East Orange, NJ) in May 2014
Interview
I filled out an application in March, and I didn't get called for an interview until May. I spent all night writing and reviewing note cards, reviewing the company, and everything. It was a group interview. I knew more than the other people I was being interviewed with. One guy didn't even know how to pronounce the name of the company correctly. I thought I did pretty well even though I was slightly uncomfortable because one of the male interviewers was standing over me looking down my shirt! I didn't end up getting the job. Although I am upset about it because I spent so much time researching this company, I'm glad I didn't because I would have felt uncomfortable being around that pervert.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were no difficult questions. As long as you research the company you should you be fine. Then again I did that, and I didn't get an offer.
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
