Applied online got a call to come in for an interview. I did my research on the company and showed up in professional attire (even though it's an entry level position). They were having multiple interviews so there were several people sitting/waiting for the manager to come out. The location was VERY unprofessional one employee there even sneezed into her arm while serving food... granted it wasn't her hand but still... no customer wants to see that. Anyways manager came out and asked basic questions "why do you want to work here" "what do you know about chipotle" etc. so do some background on the company. Also if you have any experience working in a team HIGHLIGHT that. Chipotle is all about team work. Overall, the location I applied to was just trash I think the manager was intimidated by me and that's why I didn't get an offer. All the other candidates were wearing outfits you would see at a nightclub not a job interview. If you do background on the company and are good at teamwork you will do fine! Good luck
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
