I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle (Philadelphia, PA) in Jun 2011
Interview
I walked in and filled out an application and one of the managers said to come back for the interview the next day. I come back and instead of the same manager, another one interviewed me. She was really nice and she asked a lot of questions like "Why should I hire you?" and "Why do you want to work at Chipotle?" I thought I was doing great, but then I saw about four more interviewees walk-in. She said that I would be starting sometime next week if I was hired. I thought that was a sure indicator that I got the job. However, it's been two months and I haven't gotten a call. Lucky for me, I got employment elsewhere.
Just applied online and then got a call to come in for an interview. it was a very straightforward process. interviewed right there in the seating area by the hiring manager.
the interview was very professional and respectful. i appreciated the clear questions and respectful environment. i was given water and they actually sent an email saying i was rejected instead of ghosting me, nice
Easy got the job right away with no experience. NEGATIVE: you need to buy new shoes and was not told this until my first shift...What stood out most was the lack of professionalism. The environment seemed chaotic, and employees appeared stressed and overworked, which made me question the overall workplace culture.
Overall, the experience didn’t reflect well on the company, and it made me reconsider wanting to work there. I hope they improve their interview process to better respect candidates’ time and present a more positive image of their workplace.
