7 rounds excluding HR contact, 5 rounds in the Panel interview, 2 prior round. The experiences from the hiring team are great, but way too much behavior questions. HR are not so cool. Mistaken the time zone and sent me wrong time for interview. Mistakes are fine, but as a mature company, I consider it could be easily prevented through tools, or automated process. Probably I had higher expectation for Chewy.
However, no communication and not match to your promise are terrible. Saying giving me feedback in early next week and then after two weeks saying give feedback and result this afternoon which never happens. Worst HR communication experience in my life.
Overall, 4 out of the 7 rounds are purely behavior, the interviewer are kind and communicate well. Three technical rounds contains only tech questions and there's 0 coding round nor take home data challenge which I consider are important to access candidate's technical ability. The senior and lead data scientists are professional and do deep dive into the questions.
