Interview
Overall, my interview experience was disappointing.
First, the interview scheduling process was poorly managed. The company informed me that the interview could start either 20 minutes earlier or 20 minutes later than the scheduled time. As a result, candidates are expected to reserve nearly an hour of uninterrupted time for a single interview, which shows little respect for their schedules.
Second, the interviewer asked whether I had experience handling Hong Kong work visa applications for Mainland Chinese employees. After I explained that I did not have direct experience in this area, the interview was effectively concluded shortly afterward. This gave the impression that the key requirements of the role had not been adequately assessed during the resume screening stage, resulting in wasted time for both parties.
In addition, there was no opportunity for candidates to ask questions about the role, team, or company. In my view, an interview should be a two-way conversation rather than a one-sided evaluation process.
Finally, from the initial coordination to the interview itself, the overall experience felt disorganized and overly passive from the candidate's perspective. The recruitment process lacked professionalism and candidate consideration. I hope the company can improve its interview coordination and communication process to provide a better experience for future applicants.

The first interview involves drawing a hotel guestroom floor plan. It requires creativity and innovation to help you stand out. The second interview includes a self-introduction and a walkthrough of the projects you’ve worked on, including your specific responsibilities. In the second interview, they will also ask detailed hotel design questions, such as the number of guestrooms in a hotel and the PAP for the all-day dining restaurant in a Crowne Plaza hotel.
