      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at ChenMed (Decatur, GA) in Oct 2018

      Interview

Very Lengthy Interview Process. Spoke with over 6 individuals and there was little reading of how they would be making a selection. It was a bit overwhelming, but I am glad I experienced this type of interview process.

Appreciate the thoughts. I'm glad there was a positive take away from the interview process and you were able to experience a panel style, Targeted Selection methodology approach. We are always growing so we'd love to hear from you again and remain connected!

I applied online. I interviewed at ChenMed

      Interview

Very basic and generic. No challenges whatsoever. Considering the scope of the job...this is odd. Lots of lip service. Basically all scripted. It seemed as if they conducted the interview because they *had* to and not because they wanted to

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ChenMed (New Orleans, LA)

      Interview

Applied for position. Recruiter reached out to schedule initial phone interview, the first step in the process. I was moved along to the next step, an interview with the Center Director. After a couple of weeks or so, received an e-mail from the company informing that I had moved along to the next step, a group interview.

      Center Manager Interview

      25 Jun 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ChenMed

      Interview

Very friendly and professional recruiter. 2nd interview with Operations Mgr. from corporate. They really want to make sure you can commit at least 50 hours per week minimum. Asked general employment history questions, nothing technical. Asked 3 questions from the behavioral interview guide. When asked what I knew about the company I talked about growth, industry and culture. I read about the ChenMed pledge being recited before every meeting on Glassdoor and did mention that sounded like a strange practice. The recruiter called me back to say that the interview hadn’t gone well. I was surprised because I’ve opened several clinics and thought I explained my experience and values well. The only feedback I got was that the ChenMed pledge was important to the company. So my advice if you like taking oaths throughout the day, let them know. If you think that sounds strange but are open to learning more, keep it to yourself. I believe the pay offer was 150base up to 50k bonus with potential to get to 300k then 400k by the end of year 3!! Good Luck.

Hello, thank you for taking the time out to review us and glad the experience with the recruiter was a positive one. Our mission focus and passion for our value system is what drives our organization to achieve amazing patient outcomes and keeps us grounded and knowing the "why" behind why we are here. We do recite our core values as a reminder of the significant impact of what we are doing and positive impact on people's lives so as much as overall skill-set matters, alignment to mission, a strong patient-centric mind-set and belief system of serving our Seniors are just as important to us, if not more so than experience. Part of our realistic job preview is ensuring full transparency and having prospective candidates knowing ahead of time these culture items that define us. As you mentioned, you found it strange and vocalized it in your interview (which is perfectly okay to see it that way and we appreciate your candor) but being that Core values are a main driver for us, allowed you and us to see that it may not be a fit. Thank you for taking your time out to meet with us and if you'd like to discuss it more live, please feel free to email at TalentAcquisition@chenmed.com and we'd be happy to speak with you.
