      Interview

It was a fairly long but incredibly friendly interview process. There were quite a few different stages but I was kept informed all the way through and made to feel really comfortable at each stage. It mainly felt like a chat with work colleagues and it was a really great opportunity to meet multiple people I would be working with and get a real feel for the working culture. 1st stage - Phone interview with their recruiter who was so positive and friendly, he set a great tone for the rest of the process. The focus of the interview was on my interest in and knowledge of the the role and the company as well as probing how my experience aligned with what they were looking for. 2nd stage- Zoom interview with my would be manager which felt like a chat between colleagues getting to know each other. My specific knowledge around the role as well as my in depth experience was probed. I was given the chance to ask lots of questions 3rd stage - Presentation and Panel Interview with the team. I was given a week to prepare a 30 minute presentation on the specific area if focus for the role / my team. I was then interviewed by the team and given a chance to ask questions. I also had an interview with a senior member of the wider team on the same day. Final stage: Interview with the director of the department where we had a chat and he probed my interest in the company, role and what I could bring to the table. I usually found out within a couple of days about my progress to the next stages and when this wasn't possible was kept up to date on when to expect a response.
