Interview
I was actively sought for years by cold calls from local sales managers. Tedious hiring process, not difficult, just lengthy and lots of assessment on your current practice breakdown... (more than usual in our industry). After lots of coffee meetings and phone "touches", they want to see your book of business breakdown, and tax filings for 2-3 past years. Panel interviews, held downtown at Chase Tower. ($20/four+ hours of parking).

Some Behavioral Interview questions, but high focus on your attitude and book, as well as how many of your clients *may* follow you.
Be prepared to know in your head the names of ALL of the people on your list that you feel would follow you. (Good luck with that). You will be asked to write the names down upon an offer being made, after speaking about it ad nauseum.
