I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chase in Mar 2019
Interview
The interview process and experience is really a mixed bag depending on what team you get. I was a relocating candidate and applied to these positions in many locations with many different teams. I've met managers that we're consistently unavailable and unwilling to work with my schedule, and others who were great and arranged alternative meetings, such as phone interviews, to accommodate my status as an out of state and employed candidate. Once in the interview room, the experiences were also very mixed - some involved recruiters, some went direct to the hiring manager. One interview in particular was a panel interview with a lot of "gotcha" questions that were largely unrelated to the job and were meant to paint the interviewers as above me and me as unsuitable to the position. However, this doesn't seem to be typical, as most interviews I had were one on one with just the branch manager and questions that were much more fair and relevant to the position - asking about my experiences, how to deal with challenging customers, etc. They may also set up a second interview with any relevant partners. For the position I ended up accepting the offer for, it was a one-on-one with just the Branch Manager as I had already met the Market Director in another interview. The second interview was with the Private Client Advisor and his MD, as the PCB and PC Investment Team work closely together on a daily basis. In both interviews, all of the interviewers gave a very positive impression of the company, asked fair questions that were relevant to the job at hand, and are people I look forward to working with.

Question 1
Describe your experience making referrals to partners
Mostly personality based question to ensure you’re a good fit. Some positional based questions but primarily you will be questioned based on if you can vibe with the manger and their superior.
