I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ChartWise Medical Systems (Kingston, RI)
Interview
I was reached out to by a recruiter working with ChartWise. I had three initial phone interviews with the CEO, CTO, and the head of sales. All went well and I was called in for an in-person interview a few days later. I met with the same folks and had what I would consider an informal back-and-forth interview where I was posed many direct and scenario-based questions. That interview lasted a couple hours and must have went well as I was called in for a second interview the following week with a similar questioning cadence. All in all I felt the interviews went really well, we all seemed to click and everyone was very professional. The CEO was a wonderful, down-to-earth exec with a plethora of experience and knowledge in the industry. In the end I was told, by the recruiter, that the company decided to go with the other candidate they were interviewing at the same time (who was an employee referral with a few more years experience under their belt). Overall the total process took about a month (from initial phone interviews to the last in-person interview). I was disappointed to not get the job as I would have greatly enjoyed working for ChartWise, but understand and respect their decision. Seemed like a great company to work for.

Phone interview followed by in-person session. Brief interview process focused on ascertaining domain knowledge and skill. 1-on-1 sessions followed by a group session to help the interviewee understand the culture. Fairly short interview overall.
