For a company that prides itself on mental health and helping others, it appears to lack consideration for the toll its interview process can take on candidates' mental well-being. I underwent three rounds of interviews spanning a total of three weeks, each ending with the anticipation of a potential job offer. However, my last interview experience was particularly disheartening. One interviewer displayed a clear lack of enthusiasm and employed intimidation tactics, while their colleague was notably warm and welcoming.
Despite exceeding all outlined expectations for the role, it became evident that the company may have been primarily considering internal candidates throughout the hiring process. This realization sheds light on the demeanor of the last interviewer; it seems they were already aware that I would not be offered the position. It was a true waste of time but it is no wonder their glassdoor experience for interviews is 56% negative. I wonder why!
