Long story short: I paid to attend CRA's super day and never heard back and was never paid back the $80 I spent trying to get to their DC office. Big red flag. I applied through my college/university. Interviewed on campus with two jr. associates, the interview was extremely casual and conversational. They asked me which practices I was interested in. I heard back within a week that I was selected for a super day for Antitrust and Competition practice. The super day consisted of small group lunch with two associates followed by 4 back-to-back interviews. They asked me specific questions about my cover letter and writing sample, questions about my research experience, my classes, my interest in Economics. It was again, very casual and conversational. They won't throw you any curveballs (no case questions) and just want to see if you are a good fit. I enjoyed my interviewing experience but it wasn't until later that I realized how little regard they have for candidates they are not interested in. It has been 3 months since I interviewed, I never heard back. I sent in three emails asking for updates and they never responded to me. I also never received my candidate reimbursement of $80. This is truly no way to treat someone, especially a struggling college student, who spent a day out of their weekend to interview for a company. I want my time and money back... what a waste. Absolutely deplorable and unprofessional HR.
