Brief phone call with hiring manager, then in-person interview the next day. The hiring manager mostly just talked about herself. Something seemed off...not saying it's a bad company, but sometimes you just get a strange feeling about a place. It was in a very small office in a low-rent, unmarked office building. Their receptionist was the receptionist for several companies in the same building. Again, the hiring manager spent almost the entire time talking about how important she was, and of course had known the owners for 30 years. I think the company is a lot smaller than they wanted people to think.
Anyway we went through the interview, I sent some follow up information that the hiring manager requested, and then things just faded out. I never heard back, but I really wasn't that interested in the job after meeting her.
