The interview process started in December. I went through quite a few stages.
1. Aptitude Test (Many MANY questions, took 3-4 hours to complete)
2. Personality Test (Also took many hours to complete.)
3. Online interview with some managers and HR person.
4. Polygraph test.
5. "Chit chat" session with a recruitment person.
After the 5th session, they sent me a rejection letter. No explanation why, no nothing. I passed up a promotion at my current workplace because the HR person, told me to postpone it as long as possible while waiting for the response from their higher ups.
I even asked the interviewer at the last interview if there was anything that needed clarifying, or anything that may cause me not to get a position there. He said everything was great, and it looked okay.
Also, note that EACH of these stages took up a day of my leave. So I used up 5 days of my annual leave to interview with them.
It took almost 6 months for them to finally reject me, and they won't even tell me why. If they were not going to hire me, at least tell me early so that I won't (1) waste my AL to come for interviews, and (2) won't pass up opportunities because they gave me the impression that it's likely that I would get in.
The company does not respect my time, and made me miss a promotion, pay raise, and many many months of waiting.
