Interview
Fairly straightforward as far as what was asked of me. However, I did not appreciate being asked to do a written assessment and one-way interview before even speaking with another person from CGD. About a week after submitting both, I hear back that they went forward with another candidate.

Describe a research project that you’ve worked on. What was the problem? How did you investigate it? What was the outcome? Please focus on your role in the work program and any data analytical tools you used.

First had an initial interview with basic questions from HR.
The second round was with another Research assistant
They also asked for a writing sample
The last round was a round table with different people ( 3 people) including the Director of the department.

Had an interview with the person I would be working under and the person I would be replacing. Very transparent, great experience. I was able to ask the person I was replacing questions in confidence without the hiring managers participating.
