A recruiter reached out to me few times on Linkedin and asked me to give me to give her 15 mins of my time to go over the company and role she thinks I might be a great fit for. I decided to say yes since I was passively looking for new roles. We scheduled a call and the recruiter seemed new in the game. She started asking me questions about my experience and background and starting to take a deep dive into my resume. I was confused because she wanted 15mins of my time and she was suppose to go over the role and company but instead she took over 35 mins of my time asking me questions and left very little time to ask me any. It seemed a full interview. I was being polite but I really did not appreciate the approach and extra time she took. Anyways, after our call she ghosted me for about 2 weeks and I didn't care to follow up. After 2 weeks she randomly sends me an email, saying, " thank you for following up but at this time we are not going to move forward with your application" . Weirdd! 1, i never sent her a follow up email to begin with and 2, I never applied for this role . Waste of time!
