I got an employee referal and that day I heard from HR saying they wanted to do a short 15-30 minute phone screening interview. That phone interview happened within the week and the next week I heard that they wanted to bring me in for an on-site interview. I was emailed an itnerary and direction on how to get there. They set up me for a 8:30am-3:00pm (all day of interviews which involved talking to various people for about 30 minutes). They took me out to lunch to meet other people on the team. When I arrived, my schedule got changed last minute, which I was not aware of since there was no new email that morning, and pushed everything back. The process with each person involved talking about my own personal experiences, asking what they did and what the current projects are. Some were more naturally flowing and others were me driving the conversation. One guy had barely any questions to ask me and it wasn't even 5 minutes into the interview. About 1-2 weeks later, I got an email saying they decided to go with another candidate. I reached out to HR to get some feedback but didn't hear anything yet.
