I applied through university. I interviewed at Causecode Technologies in Aug 2017
Interview
The students were shortlisted based on their resume. The first round was of HR interview in which the interviewer asked some questions about myself, my internship, and what frameworks have I used in my projects. Then I was asked some basic questions about programming.
I wasn't selected because they wanted someone who has at least 2 months of internship (my internship was ongoing), and they wanted hands on experience with some frameworks that they've mentioned as their requirement.
The interviewer who didn't even cross questioned (when I was explaining my project), got to know that the students were working on some basic technologies and only have brief knowledge of new frameworks.(I don't know what they were expecting from a student who just got into final year). I said I have started learning Angular2 but I guess they needed "hands on experience" with the frameworks. They didn't realized that someone who as a part of his internship is learning Angular2 would learn and implement it by the end of the internship.
We believe in hiring candidates that are both a cultural and technical fit. People who believe and successfully demonstrate our core values and ones who are passionate about technology are usually the ones that make the cut. Sorry that it didn't work out for you and all the best with your search.
Other Software Developer interview reviews for Causecode Technologies
I applied through my campus drive and first round was online test.It included 2 sections 1 aptitude and other was further categorised in java, javascript, mysql and hands on programming. The test went preety well and was sure will be selected in round 2 but surprisingly(rather by partiallity)i was not selected rather some students preceeded to round 2 who had not written a single line of code.I t was a very random selection and next round was technical
They came to my college for campus recruitment and the experience was terrible. They're only there for company advertising since out of the 315 people that applied, only one cleared their first round which was CV shortlisting, it seemed like some kind of formality.
