Cathay Organisation interview questions

Interview process was pretty unpleasant. HR asked for my expected salary and found it too high. So they asked if i was willing to settle for a lower amount. To which I replied yes and stated the second amount. HR then pretended that I said an even lower amount and proceeded to jot down the amount she "misheard". Overall a very unpleasant experience.
