I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Caterpillar (East Peoria, IL) in Aug 2015
Interview
You interview with three supervisor level employers. Two are from non-related fields and one from your field. The interviews are three one hour back to back interviews. They all follow the same flow and the questions are a bit different. Don't use the same example for the same interview but you can make them the same between different. The interviewers independently provide "marks" rating your interview. Then someone else sits down with the interviewers and picks the ones with the highest marks and chooses the person based on fit.
