      Key Account Manager Interview

      14 Mar 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Singapore
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at CaterSpot (Singapore) in Jan 2023

      Interview

Good to start with fast response after application and video call booked in not long after. Fairly generic interview process with no difficult questions mainly competency focused. Towards the end of the interview the interviewer (CEO & founder) asked me if I was pregnant or planning on getting pregnant any time soon, by this point it was a firm NO from my side for the company & role- this is not something you ask a prospective candidate and other candidates may not be as forgiving. He then proceeded to mention the team wouldn't like an 'outsider' coming in (I'm not from Singapore), my application clearly stated that I am from the UK. Other than that it was pleasant, but I would recommend getting some interview training or some general understanding of how to talk to women, otherwise there might be a discrimination lawsuit coming your way in the near future.
