I applied online. I interviewed at Caseware (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2026
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter in February 2026 to set up the initial phone screen. I prepared and was ready for the phone call. The interviewer seemed distracted and unprepared. She asked generic questions and did not seem interested. I answered the questions well and am overqualified for the position. I was then ghosted. I sent a thank you email after the call but have not gotten any response in over a month. No rejection email even. Very unprofessional with no feedback and ghosting.

Interview
I had a phone screen with their talent acquisition partner in early August and was told I’d be connected with the hiring manager and vice president for the next round. I then did not hear back for several weeks. When I reached out for an update I was told everyone had been on vacation and that something would be scheduled soon. I was then ghosted again for a couple weeks and when I reached out again was given another excuse that the week had been “chaotic” and they had one time available for an interview the following week (the entire week). I was unavailable that day and not willing to shift my schedule based on my experience with them thus far. I told the contact I was not available and asked for additional available times and received an out of office automatic reply. I never heard back after that and moved onto other opportunities.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Caseware (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2023
Interview
5 rounds of interviews, with a presentation as final interview, made it to the second to last round, and indicated that went with another candidate but not sure if that is 100% true, also sent multiple follow-up email and got a response over a week later. Overall, a terrible interview process and poor communication from the recruiter.
