I applied online and was contacted by a talent acquisition team member. The interview process start to finish was about 3.5 months and included 5 virtual interviews and two days on-site with panel interviews, interviews with consultants, and meeting with the CEO and other senior leaders. I liked everyone I met throughout the process.
The virtual interviews were more on the conversational side, with lots of questions about team leadership, marketing expertise, experience with communications etc.
The days on-site were large panel interviews with behavioral-based questions and some other questions as well. 7 people in one panel, 6 in another, and 9 in another. Panels were way too big, there was not time scheduled between them to gather thoughts. They were scheduled for the convenience of the panel members and not to get the best out of the candidate. I feel 4 people is a maximum size for a panel.
After a 3.5 month process including dinner with the senior leadership team, I was sent an email telling me that they wish me good luck in my job search and are interviewing other candidates.
After that much time investment and traveling across the country to be on-site, a phone call with feedback would have been appropriate and was expected. Posting this so there is real feedback as to the executive interview process for those who apply here.
