The process started with an initial invitation for a 1-hour phone interview, followed by a subsequent 1-hour phone interview to delve further into specific aspects discussed previously. However, despite engaging in detailed conversations about my approach to various issues and operational scenarios, I ultimately received a generic rejection email after more than a month. It appears that the position has been open for a considerable duration, leading to suspicions that the individual was merely seeking unpaid consultation rather than genuinely considering candidates.
