I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Carbon Five (New York, NY) in Aug 2021
Interview
-Met with the hiring manager for a call.
-Vitual tech screen with a senior engineer.
-All day virtual onsite, met with various members of the team for standard technical and cultural interviews
Overall, process was fine, but at the end, I didn't hear back from them for a week. When I finally did, they invited me to a zoom call, which lasted about 2 minutes, and in which they told me they didn't think it was a good fit, and nothing else. What a waste of my time, an email would have sufficed.

Interview
Applied for the job online, got a phone call from a coding person. We talked about the company and why Id be a good fit. The usual. Then I got setup for a coding interview me a week later.

Question 1
I had to write a class that accepted a sting and outputted an object. It was simple.
The interview process is very immersive and noticeably thought out with every detail being purposeful and intended. The process was three rounds: a technical phone screening, a pairing tech challenge and a full-day onsite with the team. While the full process took about collectively eight hours, it allowed me to wholly understand Carbon Five's culture. I really appreciated the care and consideration put into the interview process. It shows the high amount of value and work Carbon Five puts into its culture.
