Be careful investing too much time into this process and company. I had 7 total interviews that spanned over the course of 3 weeks. Two of my interviewers seemed burned out and emphasized the amount of reorgs and "change" happening within the organization. They did not sell it. As far as the case interview, there was no way of prepping in advance for it. It was completely different from anything you would find online. The case interviewer deliberately tried to overwhelm me with information. Additionally, he was disinterested in working through the problem with me. Sidenote: I used to give case interviews for another firm and understand the importance of collaboration and working through the problem with the interviewee. With that being said, Capital One should consider rethinking their interview practices and the amount time they require of their candidates. Be more respectful of people's time. We are people and we have families.
